12-13 сентября сыграем в Греции

Женский баскетбольный клуб "Спарта энд К" (Московская область, город Видное) рад сообщить, что в офис нашей организации поступило официальное приглашение на международный турнир "Dimitris Mourtos" Basketball Tournament. Соревнования, организуемые знаменитым греческим клубом "Панатинаикос" (Panathinaikos A.O.), пройдут в Афинах 12-13 сентября 2015 года, и наша команда примет в них участие в рамках предсезонной подготовки.

В первый игровой день, 12-го сентября, "Спарта" сыграет против еще одного известного греческого коллектива - "Protea Voula" (бронзовый медалист Чемпионата Греции сезона 2014-2015, серебряный медалист Чемпионата Греции сезона 2013-2014). Еще один участник - клуб "G.S. Kronos", укомплектованный молодыми талантливыми игроками и стремящийся пробиться в элиту греческого женского баскетбола. Решающие встречи турнира состоятся 13-го сентября.

Благодаря исключительному гостеприимству "Панатинаикоса" делегация из Видного получит прекрасную возможность посетить один из главных памятников античности - афинский Акрополь, а также один из лучших музеев мира по версии ЮНЕСКО - музей Акрополя.

Sparta&K travelling to Athens

Sparta&K Moscow Region Vidnoje has been honored by an invitation to the International “Dimitris Mourtos” Basketball Tournament organized by Panathinaikos A.O. in Athens Greece on September 12th and 13th 2015.

Panathinaikos A.O. is one of the most historical Clubs in Greece and has been a dominant force in Women’s Basketball in Greece. Just this past season Panathinaikos surrendered its 2013-14 Championship title when in a dramatic fashion it lost to A.E. Ellinikou in Game 7.

On September 12th Sparta&K will play versus another strong Greek team, Protea Voula, which in the past won the 2014-15 Greek A1 Championship Bronze Medal and the 2013-14 Greek A1 Championship Silver Medal. The Finals are set on September 13th 2015. Also participating is a young up and growing team, G.S. Kronos, which is full of talented players and is making its move to challenge the top Greek teams.

Thanks to the excellent hospitality of Panathinaikos A.O. Sparta&K will visit one of the most famous monuments of ancient history, the Acropolis as well as the Acropolis Museum which UNESCO rates as one of the top museums in the world.

Actually this is only one of many activities which Sparta&K will participate when practices and games permit. After all Sparta&K has been is and always will be a worldwide representative of Vidnoje, Moscow Region and naturally Russia all over the world.
