Jekabsone Anete — not only a star of Latvian National Team but also a star in Europe. She has twice received title of «The Best Player of the year» (2007, 2008) according to FIBA Europe. After all, when playing in the European Championship 2007 she scored about 17 points and made 3 goal passes per game. In 2008 during the Olympic games in Beijing she was third with 15.8 points, and the second for transfers (4.0).
