Born in Los Angeles, Noel has one sister and spent most of her childhood on the basketball court. She enjoys listening to music and playing the piano. Growing up, Kuin was a Sparks fan. Her mother, Golden Quinn, has been a Sparks season ticket holder since the WNBA’s inaugural season.
Kuin attended Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, Calif., where she won four CIF State Division III championships, led Bishop Montgomery to four Del Rey League titles and was selected as a McDonald’s All-American. In 2001 Kuin was a member of the U.S. Junior National championship team.
In 2003-2007 she played for UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). In WNBA she played for Minnesota LYNX (2007-2008) and for The Los Angeles Sparks (2009-2010). In the Euroleague season 2008-2009 she played for Lithuanian team TEO Vilnius, the same season as a member of the Spartak Moscow region she became the champion of Euroleague FIBA and the silver prize-winner of the Russian championship. Kuin got Bulgarian citizenship and in 2009 she played for Bulgarian national team. In the Euroleague season 2009-2010 she played for Israel team Elitzu-ramla, and in the season 2010-2011 Kuin came back to Sparta&K Moscow region.
